I am a Movement Lesson™ Practitioner. My goal is to guide you through the Movement Lesson™ (ML) process to get you the help that will change your child’s future forever.
You are reading this post because you want to learn how you can start reversing or improving scoliosis.* I first want to show you a case study of a young man who, at nine-years-old, experienced an accident. He started ML at 19-years-old. From March 2011 to January 2012, so in less than a year, his scoliosis went from 76.3 to 69.6 to 64.1. Ultimately his scoliosis improved to 54. He did not use a vest, orthotics, or have rod surgery for any of the correcting processes to take place. (source https://youtu.be/oH1_SsO-Sic )
One of the keys to improving scoliosis is first to create movement in the ribs. Then you can start to move to the hips, the shoulders, and then the head. Instead of using force to prevent scoliosis, Movement Lesson™ uses a gentle touch, balance, and counterbalance to reverse it. One reason a person get scoliosis is that their body does not know how to move to prevent it. With ML, you can teach the system that it does not have to maintain a scoliotic position. The source video explains well the method behind reversing scoliosis. (source https://youtu.be/Jik90Ln3Jqs )
Watch the video to see how this technique is used first to create movement in the ribs. https://youtu.be/wAZtxvOOW88

*Movement Lesson (ML) can help scoliosis and in some cases, correct it. But remember that every child will respond to ML differently, and remember that scoliosis is a symptom of something. You have to look at the underlying cause of the type of scoliosis a person is experiencing. Then from there, see were where ML could help. Surgery or other medical intervention might be necessary to help scoliosis, but doing ML pre and post-surgery (or another type of medical intervention) will help get an individual on a path to having more functional movement.
